I'm home from downstate after a week of babysitting for 8 month old grandson Jerome. Poor little guy is getting his first tooth and is having some major pain!!! He is normally happy and fun and easygoing but has been quite fussy. We did a lot of rocking this week wrapped in a nice fuzzy blanket. I gave him his new blue sweater and mom Heather loved it!! He got to wear it the very next day to a Bris ceremony in Ann Arbor. It's made from Plush yarn--very soft and fuzzy and warm too I hope. Jerome's parents have promised to send a photo soon.

Now, I'm working on the boys car sweater in the winter issue of KNIT IT! magazine. Of course as usual, I changed the colors and the style a bit, but it's working up amazingly fast in chunky yarn and the graph of the car went well. I can't wait to put it together and add the button wheels . Now who will this be for??

My first blog!!! How fun!!! Now if I can just keep up with it. I've often thought this looked like a great way to keep track of knitting and life and share with relatives and friends. I look forward to comments!!
