December already???

On the knitting front, I'm trying to finish up numerous projects as usual, including 5-6 baby sweaters, and 4-5 pairs of socks. My problem is I love to start projects but then get a bit bored after awhile, and want to start something else. I have to line up all the projects in the am and then set the timer for 30 minutes, and must do at least that much on the projects, one at a time. I did finish up a nice cable sweater though next time I will cable just one way. It's soft and comfy though made from snuggly aran wt and some little tyke will enjoy the sweater, I hope. Here's a picture.

Time sure flies when you're having fun, doesn't it?? I have been so busy with this and that, and especially busy setting up a new computer. Lots of work transferring of files, etc, so that's my excuse for lack of posting lately. We did have a great Thanksgiving weekend with Julia and family, with a nice turkey dinner on Friday. John and Robin couldn't be here on Thursday and we wanted them included, so Friday it was. I had a nice spaghetti casserole planned for Thursday, since I know this is the kid's favorite, but we went to the Brookside buffet instead, and boy did we feast!!!!!! Poor Julia overdid the prime rib a bit, and paid for it through the evening, but recovered nicely. Fortunately, there was spaghetti to be had, so 6 yr old Emma was happy. 4 yr old Zack was most impressed with the jello. LOL Here are a couple of pix of the kids taken on Thanksgiving. The weather over the holiday was almost balmy and the kids played outside quite a bit, and of course, grandpa took them to the park for a bit. The two big kids are Max, who is a sophomore at U of M and Jack, who is a junior at Frankfort High School. As for John and Heather, they had their own feast in Lansing, for friends and family, and really had a great time. I was there for my babysitting week last week, but alas no pictures!!! Hopefully John will upload to winkflash soon and I can publish some of little cutie Jerome.
