October has been especially busy with grandkids mostly---9 yr old Peter was here with us for a week while his parents vacationed in the UP. Peter is a wonderful warm boy who is very easy to care for these days. He especially likes to stay with us since he can walk to and from school, which is just across the street. Very convenient. Then last week, fun in Lansing with grandson Jerome who continues to delight me beyond belief. He is such a fun little guy and grows by leaps and bounds every time I see him. Such is the life of a 2 yr old I suppose, as everything is new and exciting and there's lots and lots to learn. We paid a visit to Aunt Cynthia and Aunt Dorothy in Detroit as usual, even though great grandma has gone on to Heaven. Jerome says she is a sparkly star in the sky. I like that image. Right there for all of us to see. She's shining love and light down on us now. How cool!!!!! Anyway here's a couple of photos of Jerome.
