Here are some pictures of recently knitted socks. I really like knitting socks, and hubby likes the finished product too, since our winters here in northern Michigan can be cold and snowy. Hubby likes to walk no matter what the weather, and is also an avid ice fisherman, so thick wool socks are a must. We have enough pairs so that we can go for about a week, then I merely soak the socks in the sink for a bit, then rinse and spin dry in the washer, and lay flat to dry. Not really a lot of trouble when you end up with nice warm feet.
