Sock progress

I taught the first of three sock classes last Saturday and it went very well. For me, it works to teach a worsted weight sock since the knitting time is manageable over 3 classes . Since I needed something to knit also, I begin an Encore sock, using an easy stitch from More Sensational Knitted Socks, which I purchased at this particular yarn store. I like the way it's coming along---see what you think?? Also, I finally finished the black pullover and just have to weave in the ends. Take a look.

I have numerous other projects on the needles and really am trying to work on them before I start something else, but it's not easy. LOL I picked up a baby cardigan that has been banished to the closet for tooooo long, and it's coming along nicely. It's a Yankee Knitter Design, and very cute.

And just for fun, here's a picture of grandson Jerome, as of this past week. He is such fun as he is talking up a storm and just full of funny little quips. I get to go down to Lansing again this next week, after visinting my 91 yr old mom for Mother's Day.
